Terms and Conditions of Sale

The purpose of the present general conditions is to define the rights and obligations of our company and its consumers in the context of the online sale of items offered by our website.

The sales carried out on line in the store are subjected to the present general conditions of sale and any order placed by the purchaser implies his acceptance on the contents of the provisions below.

1. Terms and Conditions of Sale:
The Kitshop reserves the right to change or modify these terms and conditions at any time.

The items offered for sale on The Boutique are presented and detailed in such a way that any consumer is able to know the essential characteristics of the products he/she wishes to purchase (article L 111-1 of the French Consumer Code). The photos that illustrate the description of the items are given as an indication and are not contractual.

2. Prices :
The store reserves the right to revise its prices at any time but undertakes to apply the prices in force at the time of the order and this, subject to availability at this date.

3. Shipping costs:
The method of shipment and the shipping costs depend on the destination area of the order and the nature of the order.

4. Payment :
The ordered goods are payable cash and without discount, the method of payment is at the choice of the buyer among those proposed by The Shop:
- Credit card
Payments are secure and are made through the Payzen module. Credit card details are encrypted using the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol and are never transmitted unencrypted over the network.

The Store does not have access to the contact information provided. As a result, these details are not stored on the servers and are requested again for each new transaction on the site.

- Bank transfer (The customer has 10 days to send his payment, after this period his order will be cancelled).

- Check (The customer has a period of 10 days to send his payment, after this period his order will be cancelled).

5. Shipping of the order and Delivery:
All orders are shipped by La Poste (Lettre, Colissimo) for France and other countries or by Mondial Relay.

The items listed on the site are in stock and orders are processed daily from Monday to Friday inclusive. The shipment is made upon receipt of the payment of the order.

The delivery time is variable to that of the routing of the mail necessary to the Post office. Generally, for metropolitan France, delivery is made between 48 and 72 hours from the date of shipment. For Europe, it is advisable to foresee a delay of approximately one week.

In all cases, we confirm by e-mail the shipping dates of the orders.

6. Return of an article (Satisfied or refunded, retraction...) :
In accordance with Article 121-16 of the Consumer Code, the buyer has a period of 7 days from the receipt of his order to return the product he has purchased.

The right of return can only be exercised if the return procedure is respected and only if the items returned in time are still sealed.
Before any return, the customer must first contact The Boutique's customer service by phone or e-mail to obtain a return number.
The cost of the return shipment by registered mail is at the sender's expense. No COD shipments will be accepted by The Kitshop.

In exchange for following the above procedure, The Gift Shop will exchange or refund the product within a maximum of 30 days of receipt of the returned merchandise.

For orders placed outside the European Union, it is the responsibility of the buyer to verify beforehand that his equipment is compatible with the zone of the ordered DVD. No item can be accepted for return in the case of a zone dispute.

8. Reservation of ownership :
In accordance with the law n°80.335 of May 12, 1980, The Boutique reserves the property of the delivered goods until the complete payment of their price.

9. Data-processing provisions and freedoms:
The information requested from the customer is necessary for the processing and execution of his order. The data files remain internal to The Boutique and any person has the right to access and rectify information concerning him/her, in accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978.

10. Litigation:
The present general conditions of sale are governed by French law.

Any dispute relating to the interpretation or execution of orders will be examined with the utmost care and will be the subject of an immediate amicable proposal. In the event of an unresolved dispute between The Kitshop and the Buyer, only the commercial court closest to The Kitshop shall have jurisdiction in the matter.
